He gave invited lectures nationally (about 350) and internationally (more than 110) to academic and scientific audiences and served as chairmen in more then 250 national and 40 international conferences.
Dott. Gridelli gave 3 oral presentation on clinical trials and 5 educational talks as faculty member at the annual American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) meetings. He received several national and international prizes. On 2021 received the Awards and Lecture in Geriatric Oncology of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
He is author of about 500 papers in indexed international journals.
On November 2013 the American agency Expertscape (Palo Alto, California) appointed Dr. Gridelli at the first place among the top world experts on lung cancer. The first place has been confirmed by the same American agency on August 2019.
